Vincent (with some tiny amount of help from Korval and me) finished the adjustable internal framework for my regent tent yesterday! It's fan-fucking-tastic and I think it's going to make setup a lot smoother.

In repainting the poles for the frame (and for others doing the same), I'm proposing a color coded system to go with the regents. Talon's frame poles are already green, Korval's are white. Mine were black but I've repainted them brown so that Vincent (black and white canvas) can use black. When Jonas gets a regent, his will be red, etc, etc.

The more of this that holds true, the easier it will be to sort poles on site and make sure we're taking the correct poles to an event...even wooden poles as well as the metal frame poles.

Anyway, thanks again Vincent, some great machine work to create custom threaded fittings for these things!

Yeah, I am pleased with the way that they turned out. It's a good set-up. I agree with the color coding of the poles. It will also make it easier for the tent crew to be sure of what poles go with what tent. With luck I should be able to get Korval's poles finished by sometime this weekend. We will see how work treats me this week, and what kind of time I have to devote to them.

Korval's framework modification is finished. Talon's is in progress, I should have it done by the weekend.
