You might want to check out Rainbow Studios. They are in the Phx metro area somewhere and they are a stable game studio.

Speaking of Raytheon...

Fort Huachuca is only about an hour southeast of here. :)

Firstly, I sincerely appreciate all the effort and thought you guys have put into our nascent plans. I'm absorbing all your advice, believe me.

That being said - even living in Phoenix' ass end we still never made it down to Tucson more than once every six months (if that). Since most of the impetus for this move comes from our desire to see you assholes more often - daily would be even better - living in Phoenix or Fort Monkeybutt really doesn't fit the bill.

I don't want to sound like Negative Nancy but moving to Tuscon proper is really the only thing that makes this endeavor worthwhile.

There are a half-dozen programming leads in Tucson that are not-game related that I might qualify for so I'm applying to those and keeping high hopes.

Fucking Arizona. I really can't believe I'm still talking about this.

Tee-hee!

EDIT: For what it's worth, Kneph, I felt exactly the same way. I hated this place until I left, then I couldn't wait to get back. Life is (for lack of a better word) funny sometimes.

Point taken, and, FWIW, I totally agree. :)

Ventana Medical (where I work) has an opening for a dude who knows C# and some other language (I don't remember what it is right now). If you know C#, shoot me the resume and I'll send it on. At least check out our web site to see if you find anything. The positions just got approved for the year, so people are interviewing like crazy right now.

I haven't done any serious C# work but I'll check out the website. Thanks for the lead!
