Born by the head of the Dragon into the den of the Wolf, who is this mysterious fellow? Most folk know very little of his past...But then, no one has asked him and he has volunteered little on his own...Hmmmmm....

His past is sketchy at best. What is known is that he is probably of English/Scottish decent, born sometime around 975 AD. Nothing has been made known by him of his younger years or his family.

But it is widely known that he came to this great Clan of the Wolf from the House of the Dragon. Truth is honor; And his word is his bond. In the first year that Clan Nightwolf camped with House Dragon a great kinship was kindled between Darren and the members of Clan Nightwolf. As the stories go, Darren impressed the Clan with one of his great skills learned from the Dragon when he spewed forth a great ball of....Well, it did burn, so I guess you COULD call it...FIRE!!!...Yeah, that's it...FIRE! From that moment on, the link between Darren and the Wolf grew stonger and stronger. And when the Dragon could no longer come to War, Darren came forth to the Wolf's Den.

Darren beckoned the gatekeeper of the Wolf to get the Clan's leader to let him into the Den. To which the Clan replied, "Why should we let you in to our fine Clan?". Darren's response was simple: He held his hands high for all to see....One held a Doumbek, whose beat was true...And the other held a bottle of the finest Mead ever to be had in this great land!!!

And with this offering the Clan's collective response was....WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And so a new Nightwolf was born into the Clan at War in the year 2002 AD.
